Betfair is about to make some adjustments to their fees that will come into effect on 29th May 2007.
The headline commission rate of between 2% and 5% remains unchanged, and you will continue to be charged on net winnings. However, they are changing the way that they calculate any applicable Discount Rate. A comparison of the new and old Discount Rate tables can be found hereand the new table will be available on the site from 29th May 2007.
Any changes to your Discount Rate will apply to all bets and markets settled thereafter, however most customers will only see a change as of Monday 4th June 2007, when the weekly Discount Rates are calculated.
While there is a slight increase in the new fee structure, exchange traders will at the same time be advantaged by the smaller intervals between each rate, allowing for quicker rises in the discount scale.
